Elko Weather Station Retiring
After having operated and maintained this weather station for more than 22 years, I have
decided to retire and move to a warmer, sunnier climate. The last day this station will
be updated with weather data is probably going to be the first week in November of 2025.
I will no longer provide code updates from the National Weather Service, nor will I be editing
links for the traffic cameras once I pull the plug on the Weather Display computer.
It has been a fun run met with some challenges. Now it's time for me to move on and start
new adventures overseas. I'm not going to miss the snow or the freezing weather when I leave.
Thank you for having visited my weather pages throughout these years.
