Elko County Fire Broadcastify Feed
This feed covers the rural Elko county wildland fire operations, both ground and air unit frequencies. Coverage includes NDF Dispatch,
SOA, Fireground, Firefight Local, A/G 8, A/G 49 and A/G 15, as well as all 4 Red Tactical channels and all AM VHF channels in use in our region.
Station is located 18 miles northeast of Elko, NV at 5600' ASL. Equipment consists of a Bearcat BCD-996XT scanner, Pro-Scan software,
dedicated PC to stream audio and log event, Austin Spectra antenna and redundant power supplies for all of the equipment.
A VHF symmetrical intermod filter has been placed in line to filter out any signal from our 162.5500MHz NOAA Weather Radio station.
The antena feedline is being split by a multiplexer in order to provide one common antenna for both my Fire and Police frequencies scanners. .
This station also serves as a private weather station and features 5 cameras that pan across the valley.
